🗑️ Delete Your FinWorkar Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your FinWorkar account and all associated data in compliance with Google Play’s “Data deletion” policy.

⏩ Quick Summary

Delete your account either inside the app (via Profile → Navigation Drawer → "Delete My Account") or by emailing us. Upon deletion, most personal data (including posts, images, call logs, and wallet balance without refund) is **immediately and permanently erased**, except for payment records we must legally keep for 5 years and a limited record (like your email) retained to prevent abuse of app benefits.

✅ Option 1 – Recommended (In-App)

  1. Open FinWorkar and tap on Profile in the bottom navigation bar.
  2. Open the Navigation Drawer (usually the hamburger menu in the top-left corner).
  3. Select "Delete My Account" and confirm. You will be logged out instantly.

✉️ Option 2 – Email Request

Send an email from your registered address to
finworkar@gmail.com
with the subject line “Delete My Account”. We may ask for one extra ID to verify ownership.

🗄️ What Will Be Deleted?

Immediately and permanently erased: Your profile, all posts & images, call metadata & logs, wallet balance, and device tokens for push notifications will be immediately and permanently erased from our active systems upon deletion request and cannot be recovered.

Retained: Payment records (order ID, amount, status) kept for 5 years as required by tax law. Limited information (your email address and Firebase UID) is retained to identify previously deleted accounts and prevent abuse of app benefits.

⏱️ Processing Time

Your request is completed and data is erased **instantly** from active systems upon confirmation. You will be logged out immediately. For legal records and abuse prevention, certain limited information is retained as described above. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is finished.

🚨 Important

Deletion is irreversible. After your account is removed, you cannot recover posts, wallet balance, or call history. The data cannot be restored.
